Upgrading is Easy:

  1. Turn on the Beacon or Profiler and allow the device to start.
  2. Plug the device into a home or office network using an Ethernet cable.
  3. Click the “System Setup” button on the Home Page and press “Software Update.”
  4. Check your install version number. If your version is below 3.17.6, click here. If your version is 3.17.6 or higher, continue below.
  5. Click the “Check for Update” button and follow the download instructions to begin the download. This step can take from 5 minutes to an hour depending on your Internet speed.
  6. Press the “Reboot” button and allow the update to install.

Congratulations! You have completed the update. Enjoy the new features.
